Cutoff Times

 

Weather in the mountains can be unpredictable and 200 miles is a great distance to cover in this terrain so we have an overall time limit of 96 hours (4 days).  This generous time limit is provided so if the weather turns for the worse you are able to seek shelter and still have adequate time to reach the next aid station under the cutoff in most instances.  That being said, aid stations along the course will have strict cutoff times as noted below and in the Aid Station Table.  YOU MUST LEAVE THE AID STATION BEFORE THE CUTOFF TIME.  If for whatever reason you leave the aid station before the cutoff and then return after the cutoff time your race is over.  Do not debate this issue with the aid station volunteers, come back next year and try again.
