The American Trail Running Association, ATRA, was formed in mid-1996 as a Colorado not for profit corporation to serve the trail and mountain running community. Our mission is to represent and promote trail and mountain running. We offer individual, club, race and corporate memberships.
This conference is a celebration for trail runners of all levels, trail race directors, and sponsors and vendors that are looking for an event to showcase their trail related products or services. This event is the third annual Trail Running Conference in the USA, and we are proud to partner with ATRA (American Trail Running Association). Building on the success of the first two events, this Conference is divided into two sections - Days 1 & 2 are for Trail Race Directors, with round table sessions chaired by expert panelists to share information and brainstorm ideas that will be vital for all Trail Race RD’s. Days 2 & 3 are for Trail Runners, with interactive workshops, speaker panels, group runs with star athletes, demo opportunities, and expo with the latest gear for Trail Runners. There is also a Film Festival planned for Friday evening during the Conference at a local theater in Estes Park. There is a prize draw to raise funds for ATRA, with tons of cool prizes, that anyone can enter, even if they don't attend the Conference!
